Nicholas, a mischievous ghost invites 21st Century Sean to time-travel to 1907 Trinidad, Colorado. The two boys have kaleidoscopic adventures looking for a lost teddy bear. Sean learns history firsthand and rescues Nicholas from a clash with coal-strikers during a visit by President Theodore Roosevelt.
